HOPE

Recently I took a "Painting with Light" class and absolutely loved it. My sister was in town for the weekend and we decided that it would be fun for her to go also to help with the "painting". Last year, my sister married and immediately started for a family and succeeded. She called us so ecstatic with the news.... "I'm Pregnant!" Everything was great and at her 10 week appointment, the Dr's found no heartbeat. Probably the most dreadest phrase a Dr can say. She immediately had a DMC and started the greiving process. Some people will argue that at 10 weeks, it's no big deal, but in our family, it was. It doesn't matter if it is just 1 day after conception, that's a tiny precious gift from above and that was our baby; my niece/nephew.

Back to the Painting with Light class, my sister was helping paint the letters and when the instructor asked what we wanted to spell, I immediately said "HOPE". Hope, Faith, and Love are 3 of the most important factors of life to me. We have hoped and prayed for another bundle of joy for my sister. I am happy and excited to say that she is 4 months pregnant with is having the most healthiest pregnancies ever (besides all the morning sickness ;)  ) My entry below is for my sister. She is behind the "O" in "HOPE".

  1. I just want to say that hearing about your sisters miscarriage has given me hope. Not even 2 months ago I was also at my 10 week mark when they couldn't hear the heart. I was recently married, hadn't planned the pregnancy, but was excited just the same. Hearing that she is now 4 months along and doing well has given me so much hope, words truly can't explain. Your photo and background story brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.
